Mikey from The Crochet Crowd

Mikey from The Crochet Crowd made this a special episode of the Yarn Thing podcast. michael-sellick-profile-pic

The Crochet Crowd started in 2008 under just a quick hobby YouTube Channel, for a fun hobby that quickly developed into a go-to resource for Crocheters. Mikey continued to see how far it would go. In October 2010, Diva Dan and Mikey decided to rename the company as The Crochet Crowd®. It was then we realized we were not just a crochet page, we were a true community. Our mission is to dish out inspiration all day, everyday and we do it all on The Crochet Crowd Facebook, Website and YouTube channel. crochet-crowd-logo

The Crochet Crowd can be followed through their website: TheCrochetCrowd.com, also found Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and make sure you subscribe to their YouTube channel.

This was my first for Madly Bird. I really enjoyed it and I recently started following the Crochet Crowd. I lost my daughter is past Feb and found it very difficult to pick up my yarn and do something with it but watching Mickey gave me the courage to start doing my knitting and crocheting again. So I guess I am both a needle pusher and a happy hooker again. Will watch you both again for sure.

I have been a happy hooker for about 42 years….just finally got back into it seriously about a year ago….I learned entrelac from Mikey and made a 8ft x8ft blanket for my 6/3 brother. Then I found Marly and learned to finally knit! I am obsessed with hooking…..you both give me inspiration!!!! Keep those videos coming, because I spend my off hours on youtube watching them…..:P

  13. CraftyLadyMel says:

I was definitely one happy hooker! My hubby, Frank, and I went on the Alaska cruise with Mikey and Diva Dan and had the best time ever! Oh how this podcast makes me smile … and giggle …
When you skip a tuesday or thursday Marly … I can´t concentrate ….
    I need my Marly-fix twice a week. 😀

Diva Dan and Mikey are some of my favorite male-hookers
Always new things to learn – always new things to test.
And always with a smile and “glimse” in the eyes.
You make me curious and want to explore even more with all the different things yarn can do.

I am a knit and crochet teacher here in Denmark.
I´m a designer as well….. so my live is full of yarn-things
And I fell very blessed to be a happy hooker
    Have a fantastic week
    Best wishes
    Edith
